Instead of grabbing my duvet last night in bed, and forcing it over my head with my arm, I missed the duvet, but forced my arm up anyway.

This resulted in me wolloping my head.

I thought nothing of it at the time, but this morning I noticed a difference on my forehead...

There there... I think we've all violently attacked ourselves whilst trying to sleep at some point.

Thank You. Alas, 2 days later, it's still there. It has dried in, so it's hard to wash off. I have to let it heal until tomorrow or Wednesday aparantly.

The people in work must think I'm an aggressive crazy person with a possible drug habbit. I have explined it truthfully, but I sense their head nodding is insincere. Today is not a good day for my forehead.

I think the fact that you were able to draw blood... unless you've got some sharp looking nails or a mad pimp ring, people just don't believe that kind of thing happens.

As someone who has cracked her nose falling off a bus sideways, these things do happen. Just don't ask work buddies for cash if you're short or you can expect some sort of intervention.

Yeah, you're right :-). Why do I have to make myself bleed while trying to sleep?! I suppose I wouldn't have believed someone else if they had told me that this happened to them a week ago.

But now I would! I totally would. You know, it's totally plausible for someone to hit themselves hard enough so that they bleed while trying to pull a duvet over their head, right? :-/.

Thanks for the comments Brenda.
